Guidelines and Tips on Saving Your Layout using the Scrapbooking software

It is always recommended that you save your layout periodically as you work on it. In order to save, simply go to the file to save, and then save using the PSD extension, which is set to default. It will save the entire layer, which will enable you to make changes in the future. Once you finish, you may want to save another version of the layout for thing like printing, uploading your photos to an online photo gallery, and email the photos to your friends and family members. In order to save documents for printing, the first thing you should do is to open original layers of PSD file in your scrapbook. You can then go to layer and make the image flat. If you are prompted to discard any hidden layers, just click on the OK button. Finally, move to the File and save as JPG file type. You can then save by clicking on the SAVE button. When the Scrapbooking software prompts you for a compression value of 10, just click on the SAVE button. If you want to print out the photos at a size other than the normal twelve by twelve inches square, you should move to the  Image and then to the Image Size. You then change the size of the image in PSE and change the dimensions to your liking size. At the same time, you should maintain the 300 dpi resolution.  In order to ensure that they have preferred color profile that will make your color print be the way you see them on your screen, check with your online printing company. For example, in order to print on 8inches by 10 inches, or 8.5 by 11 inch paper sizes, change the size of your document to 8 by 8 inches after the second step. You can create a new document of the size of your paper, and then you can Shift and Drag your 8 and 8 inch image layout over to the new document file. Make the image flat and save it as your new document, which is now ready for printing. You can now open the original layer of the PSD file and save.
Every online photo gallery has its own maximum size of file that you can upload. In order for your image to be viewed at the largest size, use the largest dimensions of pixels.  Now let us define some features of files that are used with Scrapbook. To begin with, PSD are files in layers. Even though other photo editor software can read these files, they are specifically for Adobe Photoshop and its element. Another one is the JPG, which are solid image file whose papers and photos are mostly common.  There are also overlaid files, which are called PNG. In this case, the background of the image files is transparent. This allows the images to exist in layers on top of one another.  Most of the of the scrapbook features and decorations are in layers and exists in PNG files, which can be either in ribbons, frames, buttons, or in staples. The last in the list is Adobe Reader Acrobat files. These files are used when the designer wants to provide guidelines and instruction on how to use the downloaded files. They are also applicable in eBooks.
